Location: Taylor Hall Room 210
Duration: 8 Weeks

Summer is filled with food, family, and fun. School is out and that means finding things to keep the kids busy. It doesn’t have to mean that you loose the time to stay connected with your church family and grow in your faith.

Many times, people loose connection with small groups because of traveling and other activities, so four of our Sunday groups have come together to help support each other in throughout the craziness of the summer and still grow. Meet new people and continue your relationships this summer. This group will meet July through August. We have plenty of activities for kids and youth at the same hour so no worries there.

The group will use Seedbed’s “7 Minute Seminary” series. Each week will be an independent topic so don’t worry if you’ve missed the past 3 weeks. You can pick right back up like you’ve been there the whole time. You’ll watch a 7-8 minute video and then work through a discussion guide. The guide will be emailed out prior to group if you want to do some scripture reading before you come and pre-watch the video

Taking Responsibility for Your Life

Leader: Rick Koch & Debbie Hooks
Time: 11:00a
Location: Taylor Hall Room 203
Duration: 4 Weeks

Responsibility is not a zero-sum game. If you don’t follow through on your responsibilities, someone else in your life has to pick up the slack. Neglect washing your dishes long enough and someone else eventually does it. Refuse to pitch in on childcare and your spouse is left to fill in for you.

In this 4-part series, Andy Stanley shows you how to take authentic responsibility for the things in your life. It’s time to stop the finger-pointing and excuse-making and to remove the “IR” in irresponsible. This series will tell you how to begin.

  1. Let the Blames Begin
  2. The Disproportionate Life
  3. This Is No Time to Pray
  4. Embracing Your Response Ability
