Maundy Thursday Service

Join us as we Celebrate Christ's Last Supper

The Thursday before Easter is when the Christian church remembers Christ sitting down with his disciples to celebrate the Passover Meal, which was a Jewish tradition dating back to the exodus from Egypt when Moses saved them and carried them eventually into the promise land.

Christ sat down with his disciples for this meal, which he probably had done in the years prior, but this year was different because he know it was his last time to celebrate this special holiday. Luke 22 shares the story with us. After the meal, Jesus went to pray and was then betrayed by one of his own and arrested.

Join us at 6:30p as we worship together and remember this special night as Jesus prepared to give himself up for us. This service will be family friendly and will focus on helping us understand the importance of the Seder meal and how that can deepen our understanding of Communion.

We will receive Holy Communion at the end of service. Nursery care will be provided for children Preschool and younger if desired.
